First-time Chinese-American Voter Identifies 3 Vulnerabilities in Voting System

A first-time Chinese-American voter shares his voting experience in Montgomery County, Maryland.

He said that when he was about to show his ID to the staff, the staff member leaned back in alarm and did not dare to look.

He also identified three vulnerabilities in the voting system:

1. There is no verification of identity; as long as you know someone's information, you can vote on their behalf.

2. After scanning, there is no receipt to confirm the content of your vote, so voters remain unaware of the outcome of their vote post-scanning.

3. Ballots do not require signatures, making it impossible to trace if someone else has cast your vote.
