You might remember this client who had an ingrown toenail her last video has over 2,250,000, You won’t believe what the nail looks like now, today I’m going to show you exactly what causes an ingrown toenail and how to prevent one! I don’t know if I have ever mentioned this technique in my videos before. Do you notice how I use my thumb on my left hand to pull the skin down and away from the nail, it opens up the space to allow me more room to insert the nippers and trim the nails.

This is the part of the nail that often gets left behind and creates a sharp pointed area of the nail that can poke into the skin if left behind and that is why you need to have a nice sharp point on the end of your nippers to make that clean snip.

Prevention is the key it is easier to prevent a problem and preserve your feet rather than recover from a bigger issue.
