The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 2 continues!
This tutorial will show you how to generate Basalt using Lava, Blue Ice and Soul Soil. We build a simple automatic basalt generator in the Overworld, then a much faster version simply by moving it to the Nether!
But we don't have to stop at just acquiring more materials - we can use these mechanics to build automatic bridges across the Nether's lava lakes. All it takes is a few sticky pistons, a whole bunch of slime blocks, and a surprising amount of melons.
