Crochet Headband with Hair Elastic DIY How to Tutorial

In this tutorial video I'll show you how to crochet this cute headband with some yarn, a crochet hook, and a hair elastic tie!

Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This crochet headband is made by first crocheting over a hair elastic. This hair elastic allow for a good amount of stretch as you place the headband over your head. Then I use the double crochet cluster stitch for the main band pattern. The crochet part of my headband measures about 20 inches, and the elastic itself adds another 1.5 inches. My headband required 31 rows of the stitch pattern, but feel free to make yours smaller or larger. Just remember to use an odd number of rows.

For my headband I'm using 100% worsted weight cotton yarn and a size F 3.75 mm crochet hook. Feel free to use any other size and fiber content yarn along with its corresponding crochet hook.
