In this tutorial video I'll show you how to crochet the shell ripple stitch pattern, which you can use for a blanket as well as clothing items.

Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. The crochet shell ripple stitch pattern consists primarily of single crochet and double crochet stitches that form standard shell stitches in crochet. The chevron look is created by changing colors every two rows.

For my sample I'm using 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn and a size H 5 mm crochet hook. Feel free to use whatever hook and yarn size you prefer, as this pattern works with pretty much anything!
