Incredible Shrinking Artwork Charms | Cute DIY Shrinky Dinks Craft Tutorial

Want a super cute way to decorate your back-to-school backpacks this year? Ever heard of Shrinky Dinks? I bet your mom has! Today, I'll be teaching you how to create tiny pins and charms from your own shrunken artwork!

Shrinky Dinks were crafts from the 1980's where kids would trace their artwork onto plastic sheets, then color them, and cut them out. They would then place them in the oven for a short period of time which would cause the plastic to shrink and harden. You could then glue them onto pins or put tiny holes in them and make charms for necklaces or bracelets.

I had never seen these before until my mom showed me how to make them! THIS IS SOOOO MUCH FUN! Perfect activity for families, for girls, for boys, for teens, and can make cute gifts for friends, too!

You can wear these in elementary school, middle school, junior high, or high school! Everyone will wonder where you got them, and they'll not believe you when you say you made them!
