In this brief tutorial, I go over how to use the upcoming map-based forecast template in Photoshop. This forecast template will allow you to essentially draw/paint your forecast visually on a map of your forecast area.

Each tile has a fully-layered map embedded in it (a modified version of MG Maps), allowing you to do all of the fun things you can in MG Maps in a forecast template layout.

Additionally, you can also use this template to forecast for multiple different regions instead of the same region over however many days you're forecasting for. For example in this tutorial, I'm forecasting for one region for 3 days.

Alternatively, you can have each "day" (tile) set to a different region on the map, forecasting multiple different regions on what may be the same day.

As of late summer 2024, this template is currently only available to MetGraphics Premium members, as it's still in the early access stage of development.
