This 97-minute tutorial takes an in-depth look at the Sonata Tragica, Op.39 No.5 by Nikolai Medtner, the finale of his second cycle of “Forgotten Melodies”. This challenging work poses many difficulties to the performer, and this tutorial will untangle many of the difficulties presented in this piece.
