Let's paint a still life today! We will be using an alla-prima approach (also known as wet on wet) to paint a still life of a slice of cake on a plate. This cake was purchased from a grocery store, though I can try and bake one for another still life video in the future.

Canvas Panel: 11x14" Great Value Brand (this was the name on the label). This panel is as cheap as can be, but turned out pretty nice after it was toned with oil paint.

Winsor & Newton- Titanium White

Winsor & Newton: Medium vine charcoal

Master's Touch size 6 filbert bristle synthetic mix (the drawing brush)
Master’s Touch Size 1 Round and 0 Round (the tiny orange brush)

Master's Touch Size 6 Flat Bristle Brush and 4 filbert
