Starsector (https://fractalsoftworks.com/) is an in-development open-world single-player space-combat, roleplaying, exploration, and economic game. You take the role of a space captain seeking fortune and glory however you choose.

In this series I will be going over all of the game mechanics and strategies I know of, so it'll double as both a Let's Play series and a Tutorial Series.

Turning Off Whiteout Explosions:
1: Navigate to \Fractal Softworks\Starsector\starsector-core\data\config

2: Open the settings.json file in a text editor

3: Find the line "enableShipExplosionWhiteout":true

4: Edit the 'true' to be 'false' and save the document.
