Take Illustrating To The NEXT LEVEL (Adobe Illustrator Tutorial)

Here are some AWESOME TIPS for working with digital illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. Todays tutorial will guide you through some of the best tips for taking a bland and boring vector line drawing, and turning it into a complex and interesting digital illustration.

Here at Satori Graphics, I have made very few illustration based tutorial videos, and that is because I myself rarely ever work with such designs. That being said, I do know how to create digital illustrations within Adobe Illustrator, and so I thought it would be a nice idea to bring you all a useful tutorial on some of the most fundamental tips possible.

In the video we will be working on things such as using the width tool on vector lines, creating swatches for illustrations, creating highlights and shadows, adding finder detail to the design, and just bringing our illustrations up to a higher standard with some simple tips. I also will show you some technical workflow methods for using Illustrator for illustrations; so things like why we should be using layers and labelling layers, as well as certain tools that will be very useful to while making digital illustrations.
