The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 2 continues!
This tutorial will focus on the process of terraforming our Dripstone Cave base and building features which help add story to the area. We clear out the dripstone stalagmites so we can get a feel for the space, then build a woodcutting facility, string up some lanterns, and design a mineshaft filled with copper ore and mysterious materials.
In the process we look at the crossover between Minecraft decoration and the basics of video game environment design, and how we can lead the player through an in-game experience while seeding extra details for them to discover.
