Chongqing Rail Transit ( CRT ) , also known as Chongqing Rail or Chongqing Rail Transit is an urban rail transit system serving Chongqing , People's Republic of China. It includes various rail transit modes such as monorail , subway , Yunba , suburban trains , and express trains.

重庆轨道交通（英语：Chongqing Rail Transit，缩写CRT），简称重庆轨道、重庆轨交[注，是服务于中华人民共和国重庆市的城市轨道交通系统，包含单轨、地铁、云巴、市郊列车、直快列车等多种轨道交通形式。

In the early days, Chongqing Rail Transit was mainly built and operated by #Chongqing Rail Transit Group . Now, several companies are involved in its construction and operation. As of January 2024, Chongqing Rail Transit has opened the Ring Line, Line 1, Line 2, Line 3 (including the Airport Line), Line 4, Line 5, Line 6, Line 9, Line 10, Line 18, National Expo Line, and Jiangtiao Line, while Line 7, Line 15, Line 17, Line 24, Line 27, and Bitong Line are under construction. As of December 2023, the total operating mileage of Chongqing Rail Transit has reached 520.37 kilometers, ranking second among western cities and sixth in China. The average daily passenger volume of the entire network is nearly 3.65 million, with an average of 2,205 daily trains. The current highest daily passenger volume record is 5.162 million on April 30, 2024.

At present, the lines that have been built or are under construction in Chongqing Rail Transit adopt two types of systems: straddle-type monorail ( Line 2 and Line 3 ) and subway (traditional steel wheel and steel rail railway, other lines). The two systems differ in terms of construction cost, suitable environment, noise control, speed and capacity. Chongqing Rail Transit Line 2 , which began passenger operation on November 6, 2004 , is China's first straddle-type monorail line and the first urban rail transit line in the western region. Line 2 was built with a 40-year 27.1 billion yen intergovernmental development assistance (ODA) loan from the Japanese government . Chongqing Rail Transit Line 1 is the first steel rail transit line opened in the mountain city of Chongqing. Chongqing Rail Transit Line 3 is China's first urban rail transit line across the Yangtze River . Chongqing Rail Transit Line 5 is the world's first subway line to achieve urban rail transit interconnections.
