In this Oxygen Not Included Tutorial Guide I show you how to start a successful colony and guide you through the basics.

In this guide I describe how to get every type of shine bug. Here are the variants and what food you need to get the next type. Numbers in [ ] are the decor they give

Shine Bug (gristle berry) [30]
Sun Bug (fried mushroom) [50]
Royal Bug (pepper bread) [50]
Coral Bug (stuffed berry) [50]
Azure Bug (Phosphorous) [50]
Abyss Bug (BBQ) [80]
Radiant Shine Bug (feed diamond to sustain) [200]

All shine bugs live for 25 cycles except Abyss and Radiant live for 75 cycles.

Be sure to feed them only small bits of food or it will rot.
